What are the biggest mistakes with common mistakes in JavaScript?

[evie_2vhz]

There are several ways to approach JavaScript, so I wanted to compare experiences.

I am particularly interested in common mistakes and productivity. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

Are there any settings, tools, or workflow changes that made a noticeable difference?

The point about mistakes and common is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. That way you can improve the workflow without losing track of what caused the improvement.
