I wanted to start a broader tool comparison thread around Rust.

A useful angle is advanced workflows, but it also connects with data quality. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where Rust is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

One thing worth trying with Rust discussion: tool comparison is a controlled comparison around rust and tool. Use the same input for each test and note what changes in the output rather than judging from a single run. It is usually easier to troubleshoot when each change is tested on its own.
