I wanted to start a broader community experiences thread around PHP.

A useful angle is collaboration, but it also connects with automation. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where PHP is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

On PHP discussion: community experiences, the part about php and community stands out to me. I would test one small workflow first, keep the variables consistent, and compare the result before changing several things at once. If you share the exact setup, it would be easier to narrow down which part matters most.
