limitations: which workflow works best for JavaScript?

[freyaoncodes]

I have been exploring JavaScript and wanted to ask people who have tried it in practice.

I am particularly interested in limitations and privacy considerations. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

What would you tell someone trying this for the first time?
