I wanted to start a broader mistakes and lessons thread around TypeScript.

A useful angle is future improvements, but it also connects with collaboration. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where TypeScript is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

I think typescript and lessons is the key part of this topic. A practical approach is to define the outcome you want, test it with a small example, and then check quality, speed and reliability separately. It also gives you a cleaner baseline if you want to compare tools or settings later.
