I have a question about Machine Learning that may be useful for other people working with it too.

I am particularly interested in cost control and deployment. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

I think cost and control is the key part of this topic. A practical approach is to define the outcome you want, test it with a small example, and then check quality, speed and reliability separately. That way you can improve the workflow without losing track of what caused the improvement.
