common mistakes: which workflow works best for Ollama?

[freyaonforest]

I have been exploring Ollama and wanted to ask people who have tried it in practice.

I am particularly interested in common mistakes and getting started. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

What has worked best for you, and what would you avoid?

The point about common and mistakes is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. It is usually easier to troubleshoot when each change is tested on its own.

I think common and mistakes is the key part of this topic. A practical approach is to define the outcome you want, test it with a small example, and then check quality, speed and reliability separately. It also gives you a cleaner baseline if you want to compare tools or settings later.

On common mistakes: which workflow works best for Ollama?, the part about common and mistakes stands out to me. I would test one small workflow first, keep the variables consistent, and compare the result before changing several things at once. It is usually easier to troubleshoot when each change is tested on its own.
