I wanted to start a broader tool comparison thread around TypeScript.

A useful angle is customisation, but it also connects with testing. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where TypeScript is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

A useful way to look at TypeScript: tool comparison ideas and experiences is to focus first on typescript and tool. That tends to make the trade-offs easier to compare. That way you can improve the workflow without losing track of what caused the improvement.
