I wanted to start a broader creative experiments thread around Perplexity.

A useful angle is security, but it also connects with performance. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where Perplexity is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

For Perplexity: creative experiments ideas and experiences, I would separate the problem into setup, output quality and repeatability. perplexity and experiments fits into that because it can change the result quite a lot depending on the workflow. It also gives you a cleaner baseline if you want to compare tools or settings later.

The point about perplexity and experiments is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. The original point — "I wanted to start a broader creative experiments thread around Perplexity. A useful angle is security, but it also connects with performance. Different tools and workflows can pro…" — gives a useful starting point for that comparison.
