I am trying to improve my approach to Off Topic and could use some practical advice.

I am particularly interested in deployment and cost control. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

What has worked best for you, and what would you avoid?

For How do you improve deployment when working with Off Topic?, I would separate the problem into setup, output quality and repeatability. improve and deployment fits into that because it can change the result quite a lot depending on the workflow. That way you can improve the workflow without losing track of what caused the improvement.

I think improve and deployment is the key part of this topic. A practical approach is to define the outcome you want, test it with a small example, and then check quality, speed and reliability separately. The original point — "I am trying to improve my approach to Off Topic and could use some practical advice. I am particularly interested in deployment and cost control. I would like to compare approache…" — gives a useful starting point for that comparison.
