How do you improve best workflow when working with Learning AI?

I have a question about Learning AI that may be useful for other people working with it too.

I am particularly interested in best workflow and getting started. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

What has worked best for you, and what would you avoid?

A practical way to approach people is to decide what success looks like before you change anything. Otherwise it's easy to keep tweaking without knowing whether you're actually improving it. It also gives you an easy point to roll back to if the next change makes things worse.
