I am trying to improve my approach to Robot Navigation and could use some practical advice.

I am particularly interested in data quality and security. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

What would you tell someone trying this for the first time?

For data quality question: how do you handle Robot Navigation?, I would separate the problem into setup, output quality and repeatability. data and quality fits into that because it can change the result quite a lot depending on the workflow. That should make it easier to tell whether the change is actually helping.
