Computer Vision — what is changing around workflow comparison?

I wanted to start a broader workflow comparison thread around Computer Vision.

A useful angle is useful tools, but it also connects with reliability. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where Computer Vision is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

For Computer Vision — what is changing around workflow comparison?, I would separate the problem into setup, output quality and repeatability. computer and vision fits into that because it can change the result quite a lot depending on the workflow. It also gives you a cleaner baseline if you want to compare tools or settings later.
