I wanted to start a broader mistakes and lessons thread around AI Characters.

A useful angle is beginner tips, but it also connects with future improvements. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where AI Characters is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

The point about characters and lessons is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. It is usually easier to troubleshoot when each change is tested on its own.
