I wanted to start a broader mistakes and lessons thread around Buying Advice.

A useful angle is testing, but it also connects with prompt design. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where Buying Advice is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

The point about buying and advice is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. It also gives you a cleaner baseline if you want to compare tools or settings later.
