I have been exploring GPUs for Local AI and wanted to ask people who have tried it in practice.

I am particularly interested in learning curve and creative uses. I would like to compare approaches that people have actually used rather than just theoretical suggestions.

Which approach would you recommend and why?

The point about learning and curve is interesting. In practice I would keep the first test simple, record what worked, and only add extra complexity if it solves a specific limitation. That way you can improve the workflow without losing track of what caused the improvement.
