I wanted to start a broader tool comparison thread around Go.

A useful angle is integration, but it also connects with setup choices. Different tools and workflows can produce very different results even when the goal is similar.

It would be interesting to compare practical examples, experiments, setups, or lessons that show where Go is genuinely useful and where it still needs improvement.

One thing worth trying with Go — what is changing around tool comparison? is a controlled comparison around around and tool. Use the same input for each test and note what changes in the output rather than judging from a single run. It is usually easier to troubleshoot when each change is tested on its own.
