AI platform Lovable has secured $15 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Creandum, aiming to democratize software development by enabling users to create production-ready applications without coding expertise.

Accessible at lovable.dev, the platform has attracted 500,000 users, with 30,000 paying customers, and reports an annual recurring revenue of $17 million. Users are building over 25,000 new products daily on the platform.

Founder Anton Osika aims to democratize software development, providing access to AI-driven engineering for the 99% of the population without coding skills. The company plans to enhance its platform by integrating with third-party services like Supabase and GitHub.

Creandum’s general partner, Fredrik Cassel, compared user enthusiasm for Lovable to that seen with Spotify. Other investors include Charlie Songhurst, Adam D’Angelo, and Thomas Wolf.
